Where is the Dubai World Trade Centre?

Is the exhibition open to both trade visitors and the general public?

INDEX Design Series is a business-to-business trade exhibition however to facilitate this valuable sector of the market, INDEX Design Series allows members of the public the visit the show. A four-day non-trade visitor pass will be available to purchase at the Dubai World Trade Centre during the event. The pass costs AED 250 per person and allows non-trade visitor access across all four days of the show.

NON-TRADE VISITORS CANNOT PRE-REGISTER THEIR VISIT ONLINE.

NO PERSONS UNDER THE AGE OF 18 YEARS WILL BE PERMITTED INTO THE EXHIBITION.

Industry Professionals and Trade Visitors are permitted to attend theINDEX International Design Exhibition on any of the 4 open days of the show, upon completing a visitor registration form and presenting a relevant business card on arrival.

Is the exhibition free to attend?

If you pre-register online in advance entrance to INDEX Design Series is free to attend. 

Tickets on the door cost 100AED per person for trade visitors and 250aed per person for public visitors. 

Note: No one under the age of 18 is allowed into the halls at any time. There are no child care facilities available onsite.

How do I register to visit?

Registration Pre-Show

We strongly advise you to register BEFORE you arrive at the Dubai World Trade Centre. You can register online via the website. Once registered, please print off your confirmation email and bring this with you to any fast-track desk at the venue. 

Registration Onsite
Public visitors to the INDEX Design Series can only register onsite, the ticket price is 250AED per person and this grants you access to all shows except Middle East Covering and Middle East Stone. 

Trade visitors who register onsite will be charged 100AED per person and have access to all INDEX Design Series events taking place. 

How can I organise travel and accommodation?

Anyone travelling to Dubai for the INDEX Design Series is in for treat, Dubai is a magnificent destination and visitors can be sure of a great visit both at the event and beyond.

Are there any events or activities taking place during the exhibition?

Yes, each year INDEX Design Series events host a number of features and events beyond the traditional exhibition format. The Design Talks are the largest free-to-attend design conference in the Middle East, there is also the Trend Tour, the Trend Trail, The Middle East Interior Design & Architecture Awards and much more..

Will there be a show guide available at the exhibition?

Yes, there are a number of great pieces of show literature available. Visitors are free to take copies of the Routeplanner, Official Preview Magazine, New Exhibitor Guide and much more on site to facilitate their visit to the events

Can I buy product samples or exhibits and take them from the exhibition?

Yes, visitors are able to buy any samples or products being displayed on exhibitors' stands. However, in order to protect the integrity of the exhibition and to decrease traffic congestion due to the collection of items sold during the INDEX Design Series, the organisers have published regulations concerning the purchase and removal of products at the exhibition and have also introduced a domestic transport service. 

Are children allowed to visit the exhibition?

No. As the INDEX Design Series is primarily a trade event, no one under 18 years of age will be allowed to enter the exhibition. This rule also applies to the public open day.

There are NO childcare facilities onsite and the organiser reserves the right to ask anyone with persons under-18 in the halls to leave the events.
